Full Job Description
We are seeking a certified Physician Assistant to join our team and become part of our growing private practice.
Responsibilities include:
- Evaluating new and existing patients in clinic
- Medication management, including issuing appropriate prescriptions, administering medications and refills, UDS review, monitor post-procedure effectiveness
- In-office procedures such as trigger point injections, nerve blocks, and other injections
- Assisting with pre-op and post-op clinical care
- Making appropriate decisions, referrals, and documenting patient care for insurance type
Requirements:
- Full time preferred, will entertain Part time to start until Credentialing is processed
- Current license to practice medicine as a Physician Assistant in California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and ACLS Certification
- Current DEA Registration number.
- 2+ years working experience as a Physician Assistant, preferred.
- Pain Management experience REQUIRED
- Board certification under the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant by the Medical Board of California and the Physician Assistant Examining Committee
