About the Role
We’re looking for a reliable and compassionate Physician Assistant to provide overnight medical coverage at our substance use disorder and mental health treatment facility in Wareham, MA. This is a great opportunity for a PA who’s comfortable working independently overnight with strong nursing support and on-call physician backup.
What You’ll Do
- Provide overnight medical coverage for adult patients in detox and/or residential treatment
- Assess and manage withdrawal symptoms, mental health concerns, and acute medical issues
- Prescribe and manage medications per facility protocols and MA regulations
- Respond to medical concerns and emergencies during overnight hours
- Order and review labs and document care in the EMR
- Collaborate closely with nursing staff and on-call providers
- Ensure safe, compassionate, and compliant patient care
What We’re Looking For
- Active Massachusetts PA license
- NCCPA certification
- DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
- 1–2 years of clinical experience preferred
- SUD, detox, psychiatry, emergency medicine, or internal medicine experience is a plus
- Comfortable working independently overnight
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Pay: $75.00 – $95.00 per hour
