This contract position is on-site and presents an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals looking to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment.

In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering high-quality trauma care, working collaboratively with surgeons and other healthcare professionals. Your contributions will ensure that patients receive the best possible outcomes during critical situations, aligning with our commitment to excellence in patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and treatment plans for trauma patients
  • Assist in surgical procedures and post-operative care
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to deliver optimal care
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Educate patients and families on post-surgery care and recovery
  • Document patient interactions and care plans in accordance with regulations
  • Participate in trauma team meetings and case reviews
  • Stay updated with the latest developments in trauma care and best practices

Requirements

  • Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant license
  • Associate degree in a relevant field; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Previous experience in trauma surgery or critical care settings
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations
  • Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications

Schedule: 6:30p-7a, specific dates

No call requirement

Duties: Rounding, documentation, and patient coordination

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified

Paid travel & expenses
