OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing comprehensive medical care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients across various settings.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments and physical examinations to determine health status.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical evaluations.
• Administer medications and perform injections if warranted (taught on the job).
• Manage acute pain and chronic pain
• Utilize EMR systems (Practice Fusion) for accurate documentation and data management.
• Provide telehealth services to enhance patient access to care.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient records.
• Educate patients on health management, nutrition, and preventive care strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies .
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) with active state licensure.
• Experience in acute care settings such as emergency medicine, hospital medicine, or urgent care is preferred.
• Proficiency in medical terminology, ICD-9/ICD-10 coding, CPT coding, and documentation practices.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with patients and healthcare teams.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, infection control practices, and aseptic techniques.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is a plus.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $80.00 – $100.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week
