Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our Neurology practice. Recent graduates are welcome to apply. No experience in Neurology needed, training will be provided!! This position could be part-time or full-time.
As a Neurology PA, you will diagnose and treat patients with disorders of the nervous system. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative and patient-centered environment.
Duties:
– Perform physical examinations and neurological assessments
– Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as MRI, CT scans, and EEGs
– Diagnose and treat various neurological conditions, including epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and Alzheimer’s disease
– Develop treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs
– Prescribe medications and monitor their effectiveness
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
– Stay up-to-date with advancements in the field of neurology through continuing education and clinical research
Skills:
– Experience working with electronic medical record systems
– Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and healthcare team members
– Ability to conduct thorough physical examinations and interpret diagnostic test results
