Job SummaryFamily Practice NP or Physician Assistant needed for doctor’s office in Novi with 25 hours to 30 hours a week.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed patient assessments including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews to establish accurate diagnoses.
- Administer vaccines with precision and safety.
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation, coding (CPT, ICD-9/10), and billing purposes.
- Perform EKG
- Engage in telehealth consultations
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations with standards of medical documentation and patient confidentiality.
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with current licensure in the state of practice.
- Demonstrated experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth; telehealth experience is highly desirable.
- Strong clinical skills across
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology principles, CPT coding, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), and utilization review processes.
- Excellent patient assessment skills combined with compassionate communication and teamwork abilities.
Pay: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
