Aurora Wellness is an outpatient psychiatric practice with in-person locations in White Plains, NY, Brooklyn, NY, and soon to be Jersey City providing comprehensive mental health care to adults across New York and New Jersey. Our services include psychiatric medication management delivered both in person and via telehealth, therapy, as well as in-person Spravato (esketamine) treatment at our physical locations.
Aurora Wellness focuses on evidence-based, collaborative psychiatric care, with an emphasis on thoughtful medication management, careful monitoring, and continuity of care. Our clinical team works closely with patients and referring providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality care in a supportive outpatient setting.
Role Description
The Physician Assistant will provide outpatient psychiatric care to adult patients, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and ongoing follow-up care, with access to collaborating physicians for consultation and support as needed.
Our backend team handles credentialing, scheduling, and billing, allowing clinicians to focus their time and energy on patient care rather than administrative tasks. This is a 100% outpatient role with no call or inpatient responsibilities. Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available.
Qualifications
- Licensed Physician Assistant with an active New Jersey license
- Experience or strong interest in psychiatry and outpatient mental health care
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to patient-centered, ethical, and confidential care
- Strong clinical judgment and comfort managing adult psychiatric patients in an outpatient setting
- Experience providing psychiatric medication management is preferred
- Prior experience with Spravato (esketamine) treatment is a plus, but not required
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $200,000.00 – $400,000.00 per year
