Full Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our healthcare team providing medical care to patients in a nursing home / skilled nursing facility setting. The ideal candidate will be patient-centered.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and physical examinations
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs
- Provide routine follow-ups and manage medication regimens
- Communicate effectively with nursing staff, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, clinical guidelines, and regulatory standards
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
Qualifications
- Active Physician Assistant license in Florida
- NCCPA certification
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- DEA license (or ability to obtain)
