Full Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care in the medical office setting. As a Physician Assistant, you will perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat illnesses, and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. You will play a key role in health promotion and disease prevention while effectively managing acute and chronic medical conditions. Your ability to communicate compassionately with patients and their families, as well as your skills in teamwork and collaboration, will be essential to fostering a supportive environment. Additionally, you will be involved in educating patients on their health conditions and preventive measures to improve their overall well-being. Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive physical exams and obtain medical histories from patients.
  • Diagnose and treat common medical conditions under the supervision of a physician.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging studies.
  • Prescribe medications and formulate treatment plans in collaboration with healthcare teams.
  • Educate patients about health conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary based on outcomes and feedback.
  • Assist in surgical procedures and provide postoperative care and follow-up as needed.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • State licensure as a Physician Assistant.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional development.
