Full Job Description
We’re currently seeking a Physician Assistant to join our primary care team. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive patient care while supporting quality improvement initiatives across our health center network.
Key Responsibilities:

Support the Medical Director in supervising Quality Improvement (QI) and Performance Improvement (PI) initiatives.

Provide full-scope primary care services typical of an internist or family practitioner, including examination, diagnosis, treatment, preventive care, and referrals.

Manage a patient caseload aligned with quality and productivity standards, including outpatient management of HIV and chronic conditions.

Provide care for acute, subacute, and chronic medical conditions, including emergency recognition and clinical decision-making under established protocols.

Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care; ensure continuity of care and timely follow-up.

Collaborate closely with physicians, healthcare providers, and support staff.

Supervise and support paramedical personnel involved in patient care.

Complete all required clinical documentation, reports, and regulatory paperwork.

Participate in medical staff meetings, peer reviews, chart audits, and quality improvement activities.

Maintain professional competence through continuing medical education and training.

Assist in developing and updating clinical protocols and procedures.

Practice infection control standards in compliance with OSHA and organizational policies.

Maintain flexibility to work across multiple clinical locations as needed.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program

Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies
-
Current New York State PA license
-
NCCPA (PA-C) certification
-
DEA registration
-
Current CPR/BLS and infection control certifications
Salary: $135,000-$150,000 + Sign-On Bonus
Schedule:

35-hour work week
-
Monday: Off
-
Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Wednesday – Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Saturday: 9:00 AM – 3:30 PM
