OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant – Hematology/ Oncology for our client in Washington!
Responsibility
- Provide patient care for oncology and hematology patients, primarily solid tumors and possibly lymphoma
- Manage patient visits Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Collaborate with a well-rounded team of medical assistants and RNs
- Document patient encounters accurately in the EMR
- Follow clinical protocols and ensure quality patient care
Qualification
- Licensed provider (NP, PA, or relevant specialty)
- Experience in oncology and hematology preferred
- Epic/Beacon EMR experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently in an outpatient setting
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Five days per week
- Minimum 6-month contract
- Start date as soon as possible, realistically March based on credentialing
Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients efficiently
- Knowledge of oncology and hematology protocols and treatments
