Position: Nurse Practitioner – Advanced Wound Care Specialist Texas – Part TimeLocation: Houston TXJob Type: 1-2 days a week – Part Time

Pay: $50-$62/hr. commensurate with experience

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct bedside wound assessments and evaluations in post-acute, home, and facility settings.
- Diagnose and treat chronic wounds, pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, and other skin conditions.
- Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and minor procedures as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on wound care management and prevention.
- Document encounters accurately and timely using EMR systems (e.g., Intellicure or similar).
- Communicate care plans and collaborate with facility staff, caregivers, and the interdisciplinary team.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and company protocols.
Qualifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Alabama (required)
- Board certification (AGNP, FNP, or Adult NP preferred)
- Experience in wound care, home health, or geriatric care strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within service area
