Ross Medical Care is seeking a motivated and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our patient-centered primary care office. This role focuses on comprehensive, relationship-based care with an emphasis on integrative medicine, prevention, wellness and treating the root cause of illness.
The APP will evaluate and manage patients, order and interpret labs, develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate closely with the clinical team to deliver high-quality care. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, detail-oriented and passionate about patient education and longterm health outcomes for patients of all ages.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provides healthcare in collaboration with medical care team
- Interview patients in-office and virtually to obtain health history, perform examinations, order labs and tests/diagnostic procedures, provide medications and supplement recommendations
- Provides a safe environment to work alongside patients in treating complicated health matters
- Prepares treatment plans and patient education counseling
- Follows prescriptive protocols and state guidelines for Prescriptive and Distributing Authority as outlined by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing and the Oklahoma Medical Board
- Provides compassionate, empathetic patient care
- Committed to continual learning related to conventional and functional medicine, in order to deliver the best possible care to patients
Required Qualifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Oklahoma (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
- National board certification
- Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills
- Ability to independently evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients across the lifespan
- Excellent communication, documentation, and patient education skills
- Commitment to evidence-based, ethical, and patient-centered care
Preferred (but not required):
- Interest or experience in functional, integrative or preventative medicine
- Experience with chronic disease management and wellness-focused care
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in primary care, family medicine or internal medicine preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $60,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
