OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant to join our clinic. This dedicated individual will be seeing patients with a variety of gastrointestinal conditions and disorders in our office in Canoga Park . The ideal candidate is an individual with expertise in internal medicine or gastroenterology, who enjoys seeing patients in clinic and is dedicated to high quality patient care. We foster an environment that is focused on quality of care and making our patients happy.
The lead physician will spend time training the candidate and will always be available for consultation whenever there is a question or query.
We are looking for an individual that can work 4 days per week, ideally Monday through Thursday, although the schedule can be flexible.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Utilize electronic health record systems for documentation and patient management.
- Explain endoscopic procedures, such as endoscopy and colonoscopy, to patients.
- Educate patients and their families about health management and disease prevention.
- Review labwork and pathology results, and inform patients of results.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent experience as a Nurse Practitioner or certification as physicians associate.
- Current Nurse Practitioner or PA license in California.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and clinical practices related to outpatient medicine.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ability to work efficiently while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75.00 – $78.00 per hour
