Job Title: Pulmonary Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
Location: Prescott, Arizona
Hours & Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Prescott: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (4×10 schedule)
Work Environment: Outpatient Pulmonary Practice
Salary / Hourly Rate: Starting at $130,000 annually (experience-based)
Bonus Offered: Up to $30,000 annually through program participation and visit bonuses
Benefits Offered: Health insurance, 3 weeks PTO, 9 paid federal holidays, 3% 401(k) match, $1,500 CME allowance

The ideal candidate is a motivated and patient-centered Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an interest in pulmonary medicine. Experience in pulmonology, internal medicine, or critical care is preferred, though new graduates with strong, relevant clinical rotations are encouraged to apply. A collaborative mindset and commitment to patient education are essential.
Job Summary:
The Pulmonary APP provides comprehensive outpatient evaluation and management of patients with respiratory conditions. This role focuses on diagnosis, treatment, patient education, and coordination of care in collaboration with pulmonologists and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Perform outpatient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of respiratory conditions including asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, and pulmonary nodules
- Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests
- Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide patient education and ongoing disease management
- Collaborate closely with pulmonologists, APPs, and clinical staff
- Participate in pulmonary rehabilitation, weight loss programs, and other clinic initiatives
- Complete all clinical documentation using AthenaOne
Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:
- Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGACNP preferred) or Physician Assistant license
- National certification through ANCC, AANP, or NCCPA
- Active DEA registration
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Pulmonology, internal medicine, or critical care experience preferred
- New graduates with relevant clinical rotations will be considered
