Full Job Description

Carolina Vascular, a growing division of ARA Health Specialists, is seeking a motivated, team-oriented Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to work in the beautiful mountains of wester North Carolina. ARA is comprised of 60+ board-certified physicians including radiologists, vascular surgeons, neuro-interventional and peripheral-interventional radiologists.

Candidate will assist with the outpatient clinic and hospital care of our vascular surgery patients. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.

Job Requirements:

  • BS degree with Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification and fully licensed by the State of North Carolina
  • Current CPR Certification
  • Excellent telephone and electronic medical record documentation skills
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, adaptability, dependability and work independently with little supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary to effectively perform job duties
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to be an efficient, cooperative team member
  • Must possess the ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment

Previous experience (six months or more) as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a clinic and hospital setting is required.

Please note: Up to 4 months of on-the-job training is potentially necessary to become proficient in most phases of this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $84,740.00 – $158,302.00 per year
