We are growing and seeking a skilled and mission-driven Physician Assistant with a passion for integrative gynecology to join our team.
Position Overview
The Integrative Women’s Health Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive medical care focused on women’s health, preventative medicine, hormonal balance, and integrative treatment approaches. This role involves developing personalized care plans, supporting patients through complex health concerns, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality medical care to women across the lifespan, with emphasis on integrative and functional approaches
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, order and interpret labs, and formulate personalized treatment plans
- Manage women’s health concerns including hormonal issues, menstrual irregularities, fertility, perimenopause/menopause, thyroid/adrenal conditions, and chronic conditions
- Gynecologic procedures including IUD insertion, nexplanon insertion, vulvar biopsies, and endometrial biopsies.
- Utilize integrative modalities as appropriate (nutrition, lifestyle medicine, supplements, mind-body support, etc.)
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, acupuncturists, massage therapists, dietician and support staff
- Educate patients on preventive care, wellness, and evidence-based integrative therapies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing practice development
Qualifications
- Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current PA-C certification and Oregon licensure (or ability to obtain prior to start)
- 2+ years of clinical experience in women’s health, functional medicine, family medicine, or a related field preferred
- Training or strong interest in integrative/functional medicine
- Excellent communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach
- Ability to manage complex cases with autonomy while working as part of a collaborative team
