Full Job Description
Piedmont Healthcare is recruiting for an Advanced Practice Provider to join the Gynecologic Oncology team at Piedmont Fayetteville Hospital. This Advanced Practice Provider will be working under the supervision of a Physician with duties in an outpatient clinical setting. Full-time position with some call responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Rounding and managing patients admitted to the hospital as inpatient
- Perform standard exams and procedures in order to perform initial evaluation of inpatient and emergency room consults
- Provide consultations and evaluate patients in office setting with supervision and clinical guidance as needed
- participate in the monthly call schedule shared by two physicians and another APP
- Assist with management and triaging of clinical related patient phone calls
- Assist with management of results, rx requests, patient messages and inquiries via EPIC (the health system EMR)
- Contribute to excellent patient care, research, teaching, consulting, and leadership to the organization
- Emphasize health promotion for patients
- Coordinate chemotherapy treatments
- Augment the physician’s ability to provide medical services to gyn oncology patients

Qualifications:
Required Experience:
Masters, Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited PA program and National Board Certification

Licensed as a Nurse and approved to practice as a NP by State of Georgia with National Certification
Preferred Experience:
Gynecology experience preferred, but not required.
