Position Overview
Growing multi-specialty orthopedic practice seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Physician Assistant specializing in Pain Management to join our growing private practice. This full-time role involves providing comprehensive musculoskeletal and pain-related care across multiple office locations throughout New York City.
The ideal candidate will work closely with supervising physicians to evaluate patients, develop treatment plans, perform in-office procedures and triage patients for advanced interventional and surgical care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and examine patients with acute and chronic pain conditions
- Obtain detailed medical histories and perform physical examinations
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including MRIs and other imaging
- Prescribe and coordinate physical therapy and conservative treatment plans
- Perform in-office procedures such as trigger point injections
- Triage and prepare patients for interventional pain procedures, including:
- Epidural steroid injections
- Discectomies and spine surgeries
- Collaborate closely with physicians, surgical teams and outside care providers
- Document all patient encounters accurately and in a timely manner
- Travel between office locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and Staten Island as needed
Qualifications
- Current NCCPA certification
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) as a Physician Assistant in New York State
- Specialization or clinical focus in Pain Management, Orthopedics, Spine, or related field
- Strong clinical judgment and procedural skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team
- Willingness and ability to travel between NYC office locations

- New graduates with relevant clinical rotations or experienced PAs are encouraged to apply
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 – $140,000.00 per year
