Family/Adult Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for Internal Medicine Private Practice
Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Family Nurse Practitioner to join our established internal medicine practice. This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who values personalized patient care and wants to be part of a collaborative healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning
- Manage acute and chronic conditions in adult patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Perform physical examinations and minor procedures
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, wellness, and health maintenance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Current Family Nurse Practitioner certification (ANCC or AANP)
- Active state RN and NP licenses
- Current DEA license
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- EMR experience preferred
