About Us
Curative Digestive Disease Center is a growing, single-specialty Gastroenterology and Hepatology practice serving the Houston community. We provide comprehensive GI care including clinic visits, endoscopy, liver disease management, pathology, and infusion services. We are expanding our clinical team and are seeking two motivated Physician Assistants to join our practice.
Position Overview
The Physician Assistant will work closely with our gastroenterologists to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in an outpatient gastroenterology setting. This role focuses on clinic-based patient care, evaluation, management, and follow-up of GI conditions.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage patients with gastrointestinal and liver disorders
- Conduct new patient consultations and follow-up visits
- Manage common GI conditions including GERD, IBS, IBD, fatty liver disease, hepatitis, anemia, and abnormal labs
- Review diagnostic studies (labs, imaging, pathology) and formulate treatment plans
- Provide patient education and counseling
- Coordinate care with physicians, infusion services, pathology, and referring providers
- Document all encounters accurately and timely in the EMR
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical workflows
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- No nights, no weekends, no call
- Clinic-based position
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- NCCPA certified
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Texas
- Prior experience in Gastroenterology preferred (new graduates with strong interest in GI will be considered)
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $109,135.75 – $150,000.00 per year
