Job description:

Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant career opportunity. This position requires that you work in both Reading and Lancaster.

This opportunity is with a reputable spine and joint practice. You will be working with a Double Board Certified physician. The support staff is helpful and professional.

The ideal candidate will have:* Experience related to caring for patients with spine and musculoskeletal issues* Experience preferred in Orthopedics, Neurology, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, Pain Medicine, or Rheumatology* Experience preferred caring for patients with chronic conditions* Spanish speaking skills are a plus, but not required

We prefer PA candidates with at least ONE-YEAR of experience. However we “may” consider an exceptional NEW GRAD. All candidates should have an active DEA, and Physician Assistant license.

** The practice will teach you to diagnose various joint, spine, and soft tissue conditions for procedures. You will be taught to do Trigger Point Injections, Joint Injections, and to prescribe DME (medical braces). For any of your patients needing a spine procedure, the physician will do the spine procedure. And for patients needing an opioid prescription, you are expected to follow conservative CDC Prescribing Guidelines.

The work schedule:* Monday – Friday* No evenings, no weekends, and no holidays

The office is well staffed and professional. You will be treated with respect.

Candidate MUST be licensed in Pennsylvania and have an active DEA Registration.

Your first year salary is negotiable and is based on your experience. They offer a generous compensation bonus program for the 2nd year. For the 2nd year, you are expected to earn more than $140,000. And as you continue to become more proficient with procedures and patient care, your income can exceed $180K per year.

There is a lot of training involved, as it typically takes 4-5 months for an APP to become comfortable caring for these patients. So you must be patient and willing to learn.

Pay: $115,000.00 – $145,000.00 per year
