Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team to provide 2-5 days of pulmonary and sleep services in outpatient setting- no call, no weekend- in the triangle area.

We will train the PA as no training prior to joining us will be considered adequate due to unique nature of our practice and novel ways that we deliver care.

The Physician Assistant will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional medical services.

Duties

• Conduct thorough patient assessments including physical examinations, vital signs, and medical history intake
• Perform diagnostic evaluations utilizing medical imaging and laboratory data collection
• Develop treatment plans for diverse conditions including complicated pulmonary patients in adults and complicated and difficult to treat sleep patients in adults and pediatrics
• Must be willing to see pediatric asthma and sleep patients.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on complex cases to deliver DME, CCPM, RPM, RTM, PIN and other newer care models
• Proficiency in proper documentation and appropriate visit coding is expected.

Requirements

• Valid Physician Assistant certification with current licensure in the state of NC
• Critical thinking skills for patient assessment and decision-making
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Must pass background checks and drug screening as required by healthcare regulations

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
