Full Job Description

Start Date: April 1, 2026 (Flexible for the right candidate)

Who We Are: A Center of Excellence

For 23 years, Florida Lung & Sleep Associates (FLSA) has served as the regional leader in respiratory and sleep health. We are an independent, multi-specialty practice that combines the agility of a private clinic with the diagnostic power of a major institution.

We don’t just manage symptoms; we solve complex medical problems. Our mission is to keep patients healthy, active, and out of the hospital through rigorous preventative care and advanced diagnostics.

Our Accreditations & Standards:

  • AASM Accredited: We adhere to the gold standards of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine.
  • CAP Accredited Laboratory: Our on-site lab meets the highest pathology standards for precision and safety.

Clinical Scope & Technology

At FLSA, you will have access to a comprehensive diagnostic toolkit on-site. We believe in evaluating patients thoroughly and efficiently:

  • Full PFT Lab: On-site comprehensive pulmonary function testing.
  • Laboratory Capabilities: On-site Arterial Blood Gas (ABG) and pathology processing.
  • Sleep Diagnostics: We conduct both In-Lab Polysomnography (PSG) and Home Sleep Testing (HST).
  • Advanced Sleep Therapies: Beyond standard CPAP, we manage complex sleep disorders using the latest therapeutic modalities.
  • Interventional Diagnostics: We utilize Laryngoscopy to evaluate chronic cough and upper airway disorders.

The Role: Advanced Practice Provider

We are seeking a PA-C or APRN to join our provider team. This role is designed for a provider who wants to expand their clinical skills, not just refill prescriptions.

Key Clinical Responsibilities:

  • Preventative Management: Lead our initiative to reduce acute exacerbations in COPD and Asthma patients, keeping them stable and out of the ER.
  • Oxygen Therapy Management: Oversee oxygen qualification (performing 6-minute walk tests and ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines).
  • Holistic Care: Direct our Smoking Cessation and Medical Weight Loss programs to address the root causes of respiratory failure.
  • Chronic Cough Evaluation: Utilize laryngoscopy and diagnostic protocols to identify root causes of chronic cough.
  • Clinical Research: Opportunity to participate in clinical trials and research studies, contributing to the advancement of pulmonary medicine.

The 2026 Benefits Package

We have designed a market-leading benefits program for 2026 to support your life and future.

  • Dental & Vision: We cover 99% of Dental premiums and 50% of Vision premiums to encourage preventative care.
