Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
Full-Time – 4 Days/WeekLocations: Norwood, MA & Franklin, MA
Minimum 2 Years of Pediatric Experience REQUIRED — New Graduates Will Not Be Considered for This Position.
About the Role
Pediatric Associates of Norwood & Franklin (PANF) is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and team-oriented Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy, well-established, physician-owned pediatric practice.
This is a full-time position (4 clinical days per week), including:
- One evening shift (12:30 PM – 8:30 PM)
- Participation among other clinicians in a rotating schedule of weekend coverage.
- 2 holidays annually
If you are a confident, autonomous pediatric clinician with at least 2 years of direct pediatric experience, we want to meet you.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive pediatric assessments, including physical exams and developmental evaluations
- Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic pediatric conditions
- Create and execute individualized treatment plans in partnership with families
- Administer vaccines, medications, and in-office treatments per guidelines
- Provide education on health promotion, illness prevention, and developmental milestones
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and behavioral health clinicians in a team-based environment
- Assist with minor procedures appropriate to scope of practice
- Document accurately and efficiently in the EMR (Epic experience a plus)
- Stay current with pediatric clinical standards and ongoing professional development
Required Qualifications
These requirements are mandatory. Only experienced applicants will be considered.
- Minimum of 2 years of pediatric experience (primary care strongly preferred)
- New graduates are not eligible for this position
- For PNPs: MSN and active CPNP-PC or FNP certification
- For PAs: Graduate of an accredited PA program with active NCCPA certification
- Current, unrestricted MA license, MCSR, and DEA
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and patient-engagement abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
