WHAT YOU’LL DO AS AN URGENT CARE FNP/PA
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat common urgent care conditions across all ages.
- Order and interpret labs, imaging, and diagnostic studies.
- Administer medications and clinical treatments per established protocols.
- Provide patient and family education regarding care plans and follow-up.
- Deliver high-quality, respectful, and compassionate care at every visit.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULING FOR UC NURSE PRACTITIONER / PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT:
- Competitive hourly base rate plus daily volume-based incentives.
- A variety of schedules available: full-time, part-time, and optional extra shifts/overtime.

WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY AS AN URGENT CARE PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT / NURSE PRACTITIONER:
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an NP or PA in urgent care or emergency medicine. (Required — no exceptions at this time)
Education & Certification:
- NPs: MSN-FNP + AANP or ANCC certification
- PAs: Degree in Physician Assistant Studies + NCCPA certification
Licensure:
- Active California NP/PA license
- California furnishing license (NPs)
- DEA certificate with California address
Skills:
- Proficient IV placement for labs and medication administration
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS at time of hire
