Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Job Description
Job OverviewWe are a small family medical practice seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team. As the NP/PA, you will provide primary healthcare services to patients typically 10 and up with some exceptions, focusing on preventative care, wellness, diagnosing and treating common illnesses, and managing chronic conditions. Here at our office, we have a large women’s health focus, specializing in preventative medicine, contraceptive management, and hormones. New Grad NP applicants welcome to apply.
Duties
- Full time position with negotiable schedule
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
- Manage patient care and work independently
- Manage patient records using eClinicalWorks and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Provide education and support to patients regarding their health conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Engage in preventative care practices to promote overall health.
Requirements
- NP- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- PA – 5 years experience who can practice independently
- Current NP/PA license in the state of Arizona.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care with compassion and professionalism.
