Full Job Description
A mission driven community health center in Riverside, California is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its outpatient primary care team. Schedule
- Four 10 hour shifts per week
- Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 6 PM
- Three day weekends every week
Role Overview
You will provide full scope outpatient primary care services including preventive care, chronic disease management, acute visits, and patient education. The ideal provider is compassionate, efficient, and comfortable working in a fast paced, community health environment.
Clinical Expectations
- Patient volume: 25 to 35 patients per day
- One hour per day reserved for administrative work
- Deliver high quality, evidence based care
- Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR
- Collaborate with physicians, care teams, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
Requirements
- Active California NP or PA license
- National board certification (FNP-C or PA-C)
- Minimum of one year of clinical experience
- Spanish fluency required due to patient population
- Strong communication, clinical judgment, and patient rapport skills
- Commitment to community health and improving patient access
Compensation and Benefits
- $70 to $85 per hour based on experience
