Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Cardiology APP to provide outpatient coverage on a locum tenens basis. This is a clinic-only position: no inpatient rounding, procedural responsibilities, call, or weekend coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage follow-up visits after procedures
- Conduct annual cardiology visits and acute outpatient cardiology visits
- Provide inbox coverage for providers who are out of the office
- Independently assess, document, and manage complex cardiology patients
- Interpret cardiology imaging and diagnostic test results
- Collaborate within a team-based clinic including MA, RN, and front office staff
Patient Volume: ~16 patients/dayConsultations: None; follow-up and established patient visits only

Compensation / Rate Details
- Hourly Rate: $130-140/hour
- Holiday Rate:(1.5x standard rate)
Requirements
Licensure / Certification:
- WA State License – Required
- DEA & NPI – Required
- Clean Malpractice – Highly preferred
Experience:
- Cardiology outpatient experience – Required
- EPIC EMR experience – Required
Skills:
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation
- Ability to work independently within a team-based care model
- Proficient in interpreting cardiology imaging and diagnostics
Travel & Lodging
- Preferred lodging: Hotel/Airbnb
- Air travel: Some travel may be required for out-of-state providers, but commitment to stay locally while scheduled is preferred

Credentialing
- Timeframe: Up to 90 days
