Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

MD TruCare PA – Keller Office

Position Summary

The NP/PA provides high-quality psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and brief therapy within a compassionate, team-based environment. This role supports MD TruCare’s mission of delivering personalized, evidence-based mental health care while upholding our I-TRUST values.

Key Outcomes

  • Clinical Excellence: Maintain ≥4.8 patient satisfaction and deliver individualized, evidence-based care.
  • Timely Documentation: Complete all notes within 24 hours (same-day preferred).
  • Productivity: Consistently achieve 18–22 encounters/day with appropriate coding (E/M + 90833).
  • Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with Keller staff, therapists, TMS/Spravato teams, and leadership.
  • Growth Support: Identify patients appropriate for therapy, TMS, Spravato, Ketamine, and Creyos testing.

Responsibilities

  • Perform psychiatric assessments and follow-up visits
  • Provide medication management and supportive therapy
  • Create individualized treatment plans based on biology + psychology
  • Document accurately in ECW following MD TruCare standards
  • Manage controlled substances according to protocol
  • Participate in meetings, trainings, and case discussions
  • Deliver excellent customer service and uphold MD TruCare’s culture

Qualifications

  • Licensed NP or PA in Texas
  • PMHNP certification or psychiatric experience preferred
  • Active DEA (or eligible)
  • Strong EMR/documentation skills (ECW a plus)
  • Strong communication and teamwork mindset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
