Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant – Full Time

LOCATION: Orange County
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Licensed and certified (NP/PA/DEA))
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Valid and unrestricted driver license
- Work well with others
- Organizational skills, ability for time management and multi-task
- Technical aptitude, fast learner, and willingness to help others
- Wound care experience or wound care certificate preferred but will train
- Must have full range of mobility and be able to reposition patients
- Desire for continued professional and personal growth
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Travel and treat homebound patients
- Conduct initial assessment and all follow-up visits
- Ability to perform complete physical exams
- Perform wound care procedures, including debridement
- Prescribe medications and dressings as needed
- Administer special treatment application when necessary
- Initiate referral for additional services as needed
- Document full scope of care from start of care to discharge timely and accurately
- Provide patient support and education
- Participate in continued training activities
- Assist with special projects
