Cardiothoracic CTICU Physician Assistant

Salary: $76.05 – $92.05/hr
Full time – 12.5 FLEX DAYS

Our staff of intensivists, who are skilled in specialties such as cardiac anesthesiology, cardiothoracic surgery, and critical care medicine, provide comprehensive, life-saving medical care for critically ill patients with diseases affecting the heart, lungs, and chest. Our intensivists work as part of a multidisciplinary treatment team that includes nurses, respiratory therapists, dieticians, physical therapists, social workers, and clergy members.
As a Cardiothoracic CTICU Physician Assistant, you’ll work in a new state-of-the-art facility alongside expert cardiologists and cardiovascular surgeons, delivering world-class cardiac care to our community. We require:
- Recent experience in Critical Care or Cardiology required; recent experience in CTICU preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program, Master’s preferred.
- Current and valid NYS registration authorizing practice as a Physician Assistant (PA)
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
- Current licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant issued by NYS BOM
- Current Unrestricted DEA certificate for mid-level providers
- NYS-mandated Infection Control Course Certificate
- Current BLS, ACLS
