Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) – Full-Time statusLocation: San Antonio, TX 78214
Position Overview:We are seeking experienced and compassionate Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) — Nurse Practitioners (NP) or Physician Assistants (PA) — to join our growing team in San Antonio. We currently have openings for full-time in our fast-paced, patient-centered clinic. This role is ideal for providers with strong clinical judgment, a passion for urgent and emergency care, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment.
Schedule & Compensation:
- Full-Time: 3 days on / 4 days off schedule, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Full-Time: Competitive salary (open, based on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients presenting with urgent and emergent medical needs.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Perform procedures commonly seen in an ER or urgent care setting (e.g., suturing, splinting, incision and drainage).
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) in an Emergency Room or Urgent Care setting.
- Active and unrestricted Texas license as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA).
- Board Certification as NP-C, ACNP, FNP, or PA-C required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
