IMMEDIATE OPENING for full-time Pediatric Physician Assistant to support Fairchild Air Force Base, WA.

Minimum Qualifications:

Degree: Bachelor’s degree.
Education: Graduate from an accredited college or university certified by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education of the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA).
Certification Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician’s
Assistants (NCCPA).
Licensure Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physician Assistant.

Core Duties include but are not limited to:

Conduct comprehensive pediatric assessments, including medical history reviews and physical examinations.
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections in pediatric patients.
Develop and implement treatment plans, including prescribing medications and ordering therapies.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as laboratory work, imaging, and screenings.
Administer immunizations and ensure adherence to pediatric vaccination schedules.
Provide guidance on nutrition, growth and development, and preventive healthcare.
Assist in minor procedures and emergency care as needed. Collaborate with pediatricians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Educate families on disease prevention, home care, and treatment adherence.
Maintain accurate and timely medical records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in pediatric medicine and participate in continuing education.
