As a Physician Assistant, you will assume responsibility and accountability for comprehensive care, support and education to patients and their families through all aspects of their medical care process. As a Physician Assistant you will:
  • Participate as a key member of the team to identify and meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient.
  • Utilize a collaborative multi-disciplinary approach to the care of the patient/family serving as an expert practitioner, educator, consultant and researcher.
  • Maintain responsibility for job performance specifications.
  • Assume personal accountability for departmental mission, organizational mission and core values.

Job Requirements

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:
  • Two years prior experience in surgery (if applicable).
  • Masters graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program required
  • PA Certification by N.C.C.P.A. and current mid-level provider license by the state of Colorado required
  • BLS from the American Heart Association required
Physical Requirements – Medium Work – (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Located in Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital is a Level I Trauma Center where we provide a full range of medical specialties and health care services to Denver and the surrounding region through our state-of-the-art medical campus and home base for Flight For Life Colorado. With four trauma rooms including the T-10 room, a dedicated field-to-surgery suite ready 24/7 for trauma surgeons and specially trained teams, our staff can provide life-saving care to the most severely ill and injured patients. In 2023, we received our exciting Magnet designation! We are so proud of our staff for this achievement, which is awarded to only 10 percent of hospitals around the world. Pay Range $55.00 – $80.35 /hour
