Employment Type: Full-Time/ Variable Shift 1:00PM-9:00PM
Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an experienced and motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our high-volume Neurosurgery team at the Piedmont Atlanta campus. This role supports surgeons with a focus on complex spine and spinal deformity cases, offering a dynamic, collaborative environment alongside nationally recognized experts.
The ideal candidate will bring prior neurosurgical experience, a strong commitment to patient-centered care, and a passion for ongoing learning in a fast-paced, high-acuity specialty.

Role Responsibilities
- Serve as first assist in the OR, supporting complex spine surgical procedures.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including histories and physicals, and document findings in EPIC (EHR).
- Evaluate and treat patients in the ambulatory setting to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, proactively managing complications and employing preventative strategies.
- Write progress notes and prepare pre- and post-operative summaries.
- Participate in first-call rotation with other APPs within the neurosurgery practice.
- Collaborate with multiple neurosurgeons and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program
- Current National Board Certification (PA-C, FNP-C, or AGACNP-C)
- Georgia state licensure (or eligibility)

- 3–5 years of neurosurgical or surgical subspecialty experience
- Demonstrated clinical expertise, adaptability, and ability to manage complex patients
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative setting
