OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a Primary Care group in San Antonio, Texas.
The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to adult patients focusing on preventive medicine, diagnosis, and treatment of various health conditions. This role requires strong clinical skills, a commitment to patient-centered care, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with $10K sign on bonus.
Spanish fluency a huge plus but not required.

Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough diagnostic evaluations and physical examinations for patients.
- Collect and process specimens for laboratory testing as required.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Deliver senior care services with a focus on managing chronic conditions.
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Educate patients and their families about health maintenance and disease prevention.
Care for 16 patients/day
No Hospital Call; hospitalist group will admit and manage patients in the hospital.
Qualifications
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (AANP/ANCC) or Physician Assistant required
- Experience with Medicare Advantage is desired
- Proven experience in primary care settings
- Strong skills in diagnostic evaluation, physical examinations, and specimen collection processing.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient education and engagement.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing individual patient needs.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of primary care.
