Full Job Description
We are seeking a part-time bilingual (Spanish) physician assistant to join our pain management clinic, specializing in personal injury patients. NO OPIOID management required. The successful candidate will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to patients suffering from injuries resulting from personal injury incidents.
Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with the physician, specifically for personal injury patients
Order diagnostic tests and interpret results for personal injury patients
Provide patient education and counseling, with a particular focus on personal injury patients
Manage patient care in accordance with clinic policies and procedures, with an emphasis on personal injury cases
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care for personal injury patients
Requirements:
Current CA physician assistant license
BLS or ACLS Certification
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work with personal injury patients
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
This is a part-time position with flexible hours, with a focus on personal injury cases. We are asking to start one day a week on Friday in the Carlsbad clinic.
