Key Responsibilities of the Physician Assistant
- Perform comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests; prescribe under protocol.
- Educate patients on preventive care and treatment.
- Document encounters in EMR; maintain clinical and legal standards.
- Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications of the Physician Assistant
- Graduate of an accredited PA program; NCCPA certified.
- Active or eligible California PA license.
- 2+ years’ experience in urgent care or primary care preferred. However, not required. Graduating students are welcome to apply.
- DOT physical exam experience a plus.
- BLS certification and Spanish fluency preferred.
- Must be able to work on-site in Orange County, CA.
Compensation & Benefits for the Physician Assistant
- Hourly pay: $60–$80
