Position Overview
This position will eventually be based at our Overland Park, KS clinic, following several months of training in Blue Springs and Overland Park.
We are seeking a motivated PA who is eager to learn, follows protocols, and thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on patient care environment. You will coordinate with Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, and Medical Providers during patient visits. Average patient volume ranges from 3–5 per hour, primarily focused on pre-scheduled injection procedures guided by C-arm or ultrasound.
Required Experience (Training Provided for the Right Candidate)
- Trigger point/tendon injections
- Joint injections
- Peripheral nerve blocks
- SI injections
- PRP injections
- Orthopedic testing
- Diagnostic ultrasound
- Prescribing DME
- Botox migraine protocol
- Ordering PT and chiropractic services
- Ordering injection treatments
- Writing orders and following treatment protocols
- Patient education and care plan follow-up
- Botox/fillers experience (preferred but not required)
- Understanding medical necessity documentation per Core Medical Center standards
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient exams for new services/programs
- Triage and refer patients to specialized care
- Explain diagnostic imaging to patients (training provided)
- Perform fluoroscopic or ultrasound-guided injections (training provided)
- Perform arthrogram studies (training provided)
- Write care plans based on Core Medical Center guidelines
- Educate patients to increase treatment compliance
- Complete documentation with full compliance standards
- Supervise and administer injections
- Lead and oversee Medical Assistants
- Maintain a 90% retention rate for recurring procedures
- Ensure seamless communication with clinical and administrative staff
Performance Objectives
- Evaluate new patients per Core Medical Center guidelines
- Monitor progress and adjust care plans
- Educate patients on treatment importance and compliance
- Recognize and celebrate patient progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and encounter notes
- Participate in internal and external patient generation efforts
- Uphold a preventative, function-based approach to patient care

Education & Experience
- Valid Physician Assistant license in Missouri and Kansas
- Fully eligible for malpractice insurance coverage
Physical Requirements
- Frequent sitting, standing, talking, listening, and use of hands/arms
- Occasional lifting of 10–15 pounds
- Local travel for training/meetings as needed

Opportunities & Compensation
- Part-Time: 2–3 days/week (M,W,Th 9am–7pm) – approx. 27 hrs/week
- Full-Time Potential: Tue/Fri shifts added (9am–2pm, possibly 5pm in future)
- Pay: $40–$45/hour
- Salary (FT): $85,000 – $110,000 annually
