Family Medicine MMC is seeking a Nurse Practitioners/Physician Assistant to join our growing team. Family Medicine MMC is committed to deliver the highest quality of patient care. Our clinic has a team of passionate health professionals that can address conditions ranging from chronic to acute illnesses. Our practice is focused on adult and elderly care. Our mid-level provider will:
- Provide scheduled patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician.
- Patient load 20 per day
- Complete any necessary trainings to stay up to date with medical knowledge
- Currently have an assistant with the inbox (labs, imaging results, home health, etc.)
- Compassionately care for the sick, but strongly emphasize wellness, prevention, early intervention, education and counseling, also women’s health and paps.
- Understand Meaningful Use, PQRS, ICD 10, HEDIS Measures
- Elicit detailed patient histories and complete physical examinations.
- Counsel patients on health and disease.
- Adhere to the standards of medical ethics and laws governing patient care and the practice of medicine.
- Maintain in good standing licensure with the Texas State Board.
- Participate in all continuing education, training and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes.
- Comply with all federal and state regulations related to position.
- Comply with all company policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Spanish speaking will be a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
