Calling all experienced General & Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistants! Seeking full time weekday coverage in Los Angeles, CA! Incumbents will float between 2 facilities, assisting with Urology, GYN, Head and Neck, and General surgery service lines and cases. Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 6 months to start (with potential to extend)
Duties include: First Assisting in 100% cases. No pre-op or post-op. All intra-op, assisting surgeon in the case in robotics case utilizing Davinci XI robot. Thoracic surgery primarily, and any of the following service lines/cases: Urology, GYN, Head and Neck, General surgery, plus Head and Neck (using the DaVinci SP robot). Provider will be in cases with a surgeon 100% of the time
Schedule: 8 hours, 5 days a week with OT and possible weekend on-call. starting either 6:45am or 9am.
Qualifications:
- Active Board Certification – Required
- Active California State Licensure – Preferred
- Experience with Davinci XI Robot; Thoracic Surgery – Required
