Salinas Valley Emergency Medical Group (SVEMG) is seeking experienced Emergency Medicine PAs to join our work family at Salinas Valley Health (SVH) in Salinas, California. We are a small, democratic group staffing a busy, high-acuity emergency department at a regional tertiary care facility with ~65,000 ED visits annually and excellent subspecialty backup.
SVEMG PAs have been established members of our ED team for nearly 20 years, highly respected by colleagues and consultants alike. Our PAs work closely with our board-certified EM physicians, who are immediately available for consultation when needed, providing collaborative patient care. SVH cares for a culturally and medically diverse population, and there are abundant opportunities for career-long learning and professional growth as well as leadership opportunities within the group, hospital, and broader community. We have a large Spanish-speaking population, and while Spanish fluency is a plus, the presence of a 24-hour/day ED interpreter does not make it a necessity.
