Job OverviewWell-respected Orthopedic Group seeks a Physician Assistant to work directly with a Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon. This position includes both the office and the OR with a strong focus on treating Upper Extremity acute and chronic orthopedic injuries. The group has their own MRI and Physical Therapy Center. This is a state-of-the-art facility with EMR and Digital X-Ray. The Physician Assistant would run an orthopedic clinic. Physician Assistants need to be self-starters that are self-motivated!
Responsibilities
- H&P’s
- Patient evaluation and education
- Refers for diagnostic treatment
- First assist
- Review lab results
- Write scripts
- Treat basic fractures
- Joint injection and aspiration
- Hospital rounds and call within a clinic setting.
Experience
- Successful Physician Assistants should be NCCPA-Certified/eligible.
- Will train a new graduate with an Ortho rotation.

Compensation: Salary is open (depends on experience), plus a bonus. Excellent benefits package!
