About UsROC is a leading orthopedic group serving Southwest Portland, dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered musculoskeletal care. Our growing team includes fellowship-trained surgeons, experienced non-operative providers, and a robust support staff—all working together to deliver same-day access for acute orthopedic injuries.
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our Orthopedic Urgent Care team. This position is ideal for a provider who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys hands-on procedures, and wants to be part of a collaborative, patient-focused practice.
Position Highlights
- Evaluate and manage acute orthopedic injuries including fractures, sprains, dislocations, and sports injuries.
- Perform joint aspirations/injections, fracture reductions, splinting, casting, and wound care.
- Order and interpret X-rays, MRI, and other imaging.
- Collaborate closely with orthopedic surgeons, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation in EMR.
Schedule
- Full-time, M-F and possibly some Saturday mornings
- No overnight shifts
- Some weekend and holiday coverage may be required
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current PA-C certification and state licensure (or eligibility)
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in orthopedics, urgent care, or emergency medicine
- Strong procedural skills and the ability to work independently in an acute setting
- Excellent communication skills and team-oriented mindset

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $115,000.00 – $192,000.00 per year
