Job Summary
Conduct new consults and routine Pulmonary and Sleep follow up visits on behalf of Respacare organization. Timelines and efficiency is a high priority to ensure patients are seen and properly diagnosed and treated within an appropriate amount of time from scheduled appointment.
- Maintain HIPAA confidentiality always.
- Keep office space tidy, greet patient and introduce yourself prior to examination, keep track of pending charts/orders.
- Complete and submit charts/ orders within 1-2 business days of order date.
- Review medical history provided in provider portal prior to appointment, gather information from the patient by performing a history and physical exam, using a self created template placed on each order.
- Ancillaries may be ordered such as, x- rays, labs, CT,PST, pulmonary function test, sleep study(in lab or home sleep study) as clinically indicated to substantiate a claimed condition.
- Complete all assigned trainings within an appropriate amount of time prior to deadline.
Work Environment
This job operates in a healthcare setting. The role routinely comes into contact with patients who may have contagious illnesses.
Physical Demands
The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.

Requirements:
Education/Qualifications
- Hold a Master’s degree or Doctorate in Nursing or a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program. For Physicians, must have a graduate degree from an accredited School of Medicine.
- Maintain a valid state license and current AANP/ANCC/NCCPA certification as applicable
- Retain BLS certification.
- Possess strong interpersonal communication skills and basic computer knowledge
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $90,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
