Position SummaryWe are currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with experience—or a strong interest—in pain management to join our growing team. This is a meaningful opportunity to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment focused on helping patients regain function and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical exams and diagnostic assessments for musculoskeletal pain
- Develop personalized treatment plans, including medications and therapeutic interventions
- Educate patients on pain relief strategies, lifestyle modifications, and non-pharmacologic options
- Prescribe medications in line with state regulations and clinical best practices
- Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and allied health professionals
- Provide post-operative care guidance when appropriate
- Identify and recommend non-opioid alternatives for at-risk patients
- Build strong rapport with patients and families through compassionate communication
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP, AGNP) or Physician Assistant
- Active and unrestricted NY State license
- National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
- DEA registration with prescriptive authority
- Knowledge of pain management, musculoskeletal conditions, and pharmacology
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
- A team-oriented, patient-first mindset
