OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician’s Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment, ensuring the well-being of patients through effective assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing interventions. This role is essential in delivering primary care and supporting patients with various health needs, including those requiring specialized attention such as wound care.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine health status and needs.
- Administer medications and IV infusions according to established protocols.
- Provide direct patient care, and educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention strategies.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities within a teaching hospital environment.
Experience
- A valid Physician Assistant license is required.
- Experience in wound care settings is preferred, with a strong background in patient care practices.
- Familiarity with IV infusion techniques, medication administration, laboratory procedures, and triage processes is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in dementia care or working within a teaching hospital is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $89,800.00 – $150,000.00 per year
