Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
- Patient Consultation and Assessment:Conducting thorough consultations to understand patient goals, assess their needs, review medical history, and determine suitability for treatments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Licensure:Active PA license in the state of employment.
- Experience:Typically requires prior experience in aesthetic injections, often with a minimum of 1-2 years.
- Knowledge:In-depth understanding of facial anatomy, current aesthetic treatment practices, products, and trends.
- Skills:Strong communication skills, excellent clinical judgment, a client-focused demeanor, and the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Certifications:While the PA license is primary, additional certifications in aesthetic medicine are often beneficial or required by specific practices.
- Treatment Planning:Developing personalized, comprehensive treatment plans, which may include various injectable treatments, with a focus on achieving desired aesthetic outcomes.
- Performing Aesthetic Injections:Administering neurotoxins (e.g., Botox, Xeomin, Dysport) and dermal fillers with precision, ensuring patient safety, and aiming for natural-looking results.
- Patient Education and Aftercare:Educating patients about treatment options, potential side effects, expected outcomes, and providing clear post-treatment instructions.
- Documentation:Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records, including treatment details, progress, and any adverse reactions.
- Adherence to Protocols and Safety Standards:Following established medical protocols, safety precautions, and maintaining a sterile and professional clinical environment.
- Potential Additional Duties:This may include providing skincare guidance, recommending medical-grade products, up-selling services and products, and participating in promotional events or social media content creation.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology and human anatomy to inform patient assessments and treatments.
- Proficiency in ventilating patients when required, ensuring proper respiratory support.
- Experience administering injections safely and effectively in various clinical settings.
- Familiarity with family planning methods and counseling techniques.
- Ability to collect data accurately for effective patient monitoring and treatment evaluation.
- Understanding of medical imaging technologies and their application in diagnosing conditions.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently within a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $81,825.83 – $98,542.93 per year
