Full Job Description
Nurse Practitioner / Physicians Assistant Testosterone and weight loss clinic with 2 locations (Friendswood and League City) has full-time and part-time NP or PA positions available. Rate: Depending on Experience Hours / Schedule: ) Monday, Tuesday, Thursday – 8am to 5pm Clinic (Closed 1pm-2pm for lunch) Wednesday – 10am to 7pm Clinic (Closed 1pm to 2pm for lunch) Friday – 7am to 4pm Clinic (Closed 1pm to 2pm for lunch) Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care Qualifications: Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields Ability to build rapport with patients Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities Willingness to work another clinic if needed Master’s (Preferred) DEA Certification (Preferred) Certified Nurse Practitioner (Preferred) Physician Assistant License (Preferred) Education: Master’s (Preferred) License/Certification: DEA Certification (Preferred) Certified Nurse Practitioner (Preferred) Physician Assistant License (Preferred) Benefits: Health, dental and vision insurance Company provided life insurance Voluntary benefits: short- and long-term disability, accident, critical illness, additional life insurance Vacation – Receive 1 week (40 hours) after 6 months; 2 weeks (80 hours) after 1 year
